Large Beeswax Bread Bag – All You Knead Is Loaf
Introducing our fun, large beeswax bread bag, handmade and hand-printed in South Australia! The bag features extra support at the top to maintain its shape and helps it stay upright when drying after cleaning. The top design won’t interfere when folding to seal.
Please Note The “All you knead is loaf” bag is only available in the plain cotton, there is no choice of colour for this bag. What you see on the website is what is available.
Bag size: 15cm (W) x 35cm (H) x 12cm (Gusset). Please view all images for an accurate idea of the bag's length.
Ingredients: Local filtered beeswax, natural tree resin, and jojoba.
To use: Simply place your loaf in the bag, press the top together, and roll over to seal using the warmth of your hands. It’s also great for storing celery, rhubarb, and silverbeet!
This generously sized bag is perfect for keeping bread fresh—ideal for homemade sourdough that stays fresh for up to a week.
Care instructions: Wipe the inside with a cloth or wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Shake, rinse in cold water, and air dry upside down on a dish rack. Avoid heat sources like dishwashers, washing machines, or microwaves including the sun. Ensure the bag is completely dry before the next use. Any moisture that remains in the bag, will cause mould.
I don’t recommend using any metal bread bin for storage. The metal tends to absorb ambient heat and therefore heats up the air inside. Instead, leave your bread in the waxed bag in the coolest part of your kitchen. Fold to store when not in use.
Your Large bag is strong and durable, designed to last for years. When it reaches the end of its life, you can compost it or use it as a planter bag in your garden. If using as a planter bag, simply cut some holes in it to allow the transfer of moisture.
